Superman and the Authority (Short Post After Series Finale)
Bit late but I finally got my hands on a physical copy of Superman and the Authority #4 and read all the issues again. A spectacular end to what might be Grant Morrison’s last work for DC. A legendary legacy they’ve made. This joins Morrison's own Superman saga of excellent stories from his JLA run, DC One Million, All-Star, Final Crisis, Action Comics run and Multiversity. Outside Superman, his runs on Animal Man and Doom Patrol are well-acclaimed and their Batman run is my personal favorite too. It’s quite interesting how they’re connecting Superman and the Authority to the current continuity with Warworld, even mentioning Metal while also referring to the Uni-Friend that communicates from the Source to Highfather. Seems connected to the Genesis Fragment. Overall, this was a spectacular finish to this series. Grant Morrison, if this ends up being their final work for DC, went out with a bang. Loved seeing Ultra-Humanite make a come back, as well as classic Brainiac with his pet
